Plastic Good or Bad

Plastic is Very Bad                    

Plastic is bad because it kill animals. Some animals might even become extinct because of the plastic problem.   Plastic can kill animals.  When people throw rubbish onto the ground it goes through the drains and into the sea.  Some animals in the sea might eat the rubbish and die. Or some sea animals might get wrapped up in the rubbish and die a painful death.

The author thinks  that all plastic can not be recycled. Plastic  takes a long time to be recycled.  I wish there was a way to recycle all plastic. We eat fish and fish can eat plastic. That means that we eat the  plastic too. We can help the fish and all the sea animals by not throwing the rubbish onto the ground.  We need to put all our rubbish in the bins.

Going to Hell!

Going To Hell

It was 3:45am. I was crammed into the rowing boat. I wanted to go back home. It was pitch black and I was shivering with fear. We were nearly at the Gallipoli Peninsula.

Suddenly there was a spark of light. Bang ! Bang ! Bang ! There were bullets raining down on us. Soldiers were dying and screaming with fear.

I felt a sharp pain on my leg. I looked at it. There was blood pouring from it. Sweat was pouring from my body. I thought I was going to hell ! By Manusha

Cricket

Do you like cricket ? Well I do. These days I feel proud of the Sri Lankan cricket team because they are the champions and my favourite sport is cricket. Hi my name is Manusha.

I am here to share some facts about cricket with you.  First I will tell you the country that invented cricket was England. The next is there are 19  countries that play cricket. My last fact is that there are 11 players in a team.

Now let’s talk about  the benefits of cricket. The first benefit  is that cricket helps you with your patience so you can control your emotions. The second benefit is you get used to doing team work it helps you to play any kind of sport. My last benefit is that cricket helps you to hit a ball technically which is very important.

Now I am going to tell you about my favourite cricket team which is the Sri Lankan one. They won lot’s of matches with other countries. I want to be a world famous cricketer like Sanath Jayasuriya. I hope you liked listening to my speech. Have a go at playing cricket. You might just enjoy it as much as me.

This is my Michael Morpurgo book that I am reading for S.S.R. I am enjoying reading it.
