Going To Hell
It was 3:45am. I was crammed into the rowing boat. I wanted to go back home. It was pitch black and I was shivering with fear. We were nearly at the Gallipoli Peninsula.
Suddenly there was a spark of light. Bang ! Bang ! Bang ! There were bullets raining down on us. Soldiers were dying and screaming with fear.
I felt a sharp pain on my leg. I looked at it. There was blood pouring from it. Sweat was pouring from my body. I thought I was going to hell ! By Manusha
I am learning to write an interesting recount.
I am so proud of making my recount interesting by using similes and adjectives
It can be tricky to the right adjectives for the right sentence
My buddy can help me by checking my work.
The next step for me in my learning is to write an even better recount.

This is a very descriptive recount. You have chosen your words carefully to add tension to your story. I like your ending. It makes me want to read more. Good Job ! You really are a good writer.
